Our Programs

...
Play Group

The program is made for children above the age of 2 years and above, where they learn their ABCs, identify shapes, colours and count up to 10. Toddlers develop important life skills in the program, such as social interaction and effective communication. Children engage in sensory stimulation via songs, stories, imaginative play, art and craft, music and movement to promote the development of these important skills:

  • Fine motor skills
  • Gross motor skills
  • Self-help skills
  • Social-emotional development
  • Creative development

The curriculum for toddlers ensures learning time for each kid is different to suit their attention span, interest, and stage of development.

Nursery

Children over the age of 3 years and above can enrol in the nursery program. It marks the start of their preschool education as they learn to read and write for the first time. The focus is on popular rhymes, engaging stories, and interactive play to learn colours, shapes, numbers, letters and counting up to 20. The nursery  ensures kindergarten readiness among the children.

Furthermore, they learn these important concepts at school:

  • Self-awareness
  • Spatial relationships
  • Self-control
  • Decision-making abilities
  • Personal safety

They are also introduced to health, nutrition, and community helpers. We use individualized instruction to personalise learning for each child and give constant updates to guardians via regular parent-teacher communication.

Children as young as 4 years and above can be introduced to the LKG program. The major focus at this stage is to develop pre-writing and pre-math skills for a smooth transition to formal education. Children experiment, explore, create freely and learn through songs, stories and printed learning materials.

Children learn the following things in LKG:

  • Names and sounds of letters
  • Names and sounds of numbers
  • Blending letters together
  • Reading words
  • Writing letters and numbers

At this stage, children are familiar with early numeracy skills, shapes and patterns, number recognition, basic literacy skills, along with language development.

Kindergarten (UKG)

Children of age 5 years and above can be enrolled in Kindergarten. They develop four major skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing to help them transition to formal primary education. Children practice English conversation and pre-reading. They gain numeracy skills via creative activities and child-friendly games that introduce them to mathematical concepts in an interactive, fun and engaging way.

The main areas of focus in Kindergarten are:

  • Phonics
  • Reading
  • Language
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental studies

Children successfully read and write letters and numbers. They can also count up to 100. Handwriting is improved, and they learn to express themselves better.

Primary School (Class 1 to 5)

Children from the ages of 6 to 11 years can be enrolled in primary school. NextGen follows the CBSE curriculum for a comprehensive learning experience. The national board also ensures students are at par with the rest of their peers.

Children sit together in digital classrooms and follow classroom routines. Teachers use computerised lesson plans to facilitate the teaching-learning experience, and students learn with the help of technology, making lessons engaging. Extracurricular activities include yoga, music, art and dance to ensure physical fitness among the students.
